A Collosal Event
Today we embark on a special journey over 20 years in the making. In 2005, I played my first WSOP event. I saved for an entire year to play a $1,000 buy-in tournament Flew to Vegas and that day ended in just six hours, losing KK vs AA to Devilfish Ulliot.
Since then, I've played many events, rarely cashed, and by 2015 I said, "Never again." My passion and dedication to poker slowly faded, dismissed as an irrational expense and a frivolous dream.
Now if you've been following along these past three or six months, heck, even eleven you've probably noticed I've been in a state of constant change..
An unexpected vitality coursing through my veins. Things awakening inside me I didn't know still existed.
Fully engaged. Living in the moment. A passionate love of life, a renewed sense of wonder, and a joyous intrigue that refuses to fade.
Poker from the heart. This "Music Is My Guide" philosophy has found me in some obscure situations lately but the chance to play poker at this level again is truly fascinating.
Not only will this be a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity but an incredible culmination of a tumultuous 3 months. This feels like the plot twist nobody saw coming. The passionate fool sitting among thousands of skilled players, hoping somehow the story isn't finished yet.
I'm going to be locked into poker 12+ hrs a day(10am-10pm pst) Living in the flow. Feeling the songs and tracing the lyrics to power us to the final table on June 16th. I'll share some chip stacks, photos, songs and content on socials during breaks along this journey.
I need all of you locked in with me, heart and soul. Send me your strength and energy. I will channel everything to the best performance I can muster. Wherever you are reading from, lift me up.
Know One Positive Dude is out here risking it all.
Six days. One tournament.
Let's see where the cards fall
